WEE WEE WEE all the way home!

Luke's daycare (at my school...how great is that) put on the most adorable Nursery Rhyme Play. Yes...that is Luke in the middle in PINK! Ok...so he looks just like the girls when he is in pink!
He the pig that went "wee wee wee" all the way home!
But first, he had to "tip me over" and pour me out to I'm a little teapot.
All the little piggies going to the market.
Running home!

He did get a little distracted by the outlet cover on the floor.

Me and my piggy!
They look so much alike!
Enjoying a cupcake afterwards at the class party.

Celebrating the Big BDAYS!

We have several girls with important birthdays...and we are always looking for a reason to have a party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIRE!!!!! The boys just don't seem to enjoy having their picture made as much as we do!
The birthday hat! It will be mine to wear before I know it...TIME IS FLYING BY!!!!
My and my wonderful husband...he has already had his bday!!!!!
Me and Elizabeth and Sarah (She has lots of years until 40...darn her!!!)

4th Grade Spelling Bee

Abby participated in the JAES spelling bee. She did great (especially since she didn't study AT ALL!!!). Concentrating HARD!

She didn't win, but one of my students did!!!!!

New Years Eve 2010

The girls at Melanie and Bill's for New Years!
Happy New Year from Jim and Joanna!!!!

Christmas Night at the Wilkins

We had our second year of going to the Wilkins for Christmas Soup. Luke and Rhys had a ball. It was wonderful. They have gotten to the age where they can go to the playroom and PLAY!!!!! YAY! They also can find boots to play in...how cute!!!
Again, Jim says redheads don't marry...Luke has several young ladies that he is attached to. I will keep all the pictures just in case...

The big girls eating soup. I wonder where Grant is???

High School Friends

My friends Myra and Joel and their families came over on the 27th for some chili and catching up. Joel was my prom date and both were friends since 6th grade! All our kids...trying to get 8 wild kids to look at the camera...yeah right!

Myra is awesome! We were pregnant together (with Abby and her oldest, Andrew). She and her husband moved away several years ago and we miss them terribly! She is getting ready to become a PUBLISHED AUTHOR! Her debut novel, Hourglass, is being released in May!
Joel's wife, Kristie, is great! I wish they would move back to Kpt so we could hang out!

What great times! I have been blessed with the best people in my life!!!!!!

Christmas 2010

The girls on the 23rd. Ellie with her Kicking Post (this is what happens when your daughter loves KARATE!)
So far, no trip to the ER...Abby asked Santa for stilts and roller blades.
Every year we take a picture of the kids on the bottom of the stairs before they go see what Santa brought them. It was a process this year. In fact, when we went to wake Luke up, he had no interest in getting up. He said "just bring my presents to me"....oh his poor wife someday! This picture was after MANY attempts!

He was a little sad (no one knows why)...The "big" kids table.
Sweet Abby

Sweet Ellie

I could look worse considering I was diagnosed with step earlier that day.
Our family. I am blessed.

Winter "Snow"

We had a "little" snow in December...enough to tease us and make us want to play, but not enough to sled a lot. We actually did get out of school. I told the kids we would go out and play at ten (to chill and let me sleep in...). At ten ON THE DOT...they were dressed and ready to go out in the frigid cold.

Holy Moly! Ellie turned SEVEN!

Ellie turned SEVEN in December. Oh how time is flying! She is a blessing! She is fun, passionate, athletic (our "bulldog" on the court and field). She works hard in school and loves her brother! Ellie and Ryan. Jim says red heads don't marry. We will see (of course, their hair color may change).

All her buddies!

Ellie, you are a blessing to us!
